PORTER, NATHANIEL FRANK SR., 73, passed away Friday, February 12, 2010.
He was an Army veteran and retired from E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Company.
Survivors include his children, Nathaniel Jr. (Martha), Ronald (Roxie), Veronica J., Brenda J., Andre, Cherie, Tyrone and Kaimea Porter, Cheryl Porter Snowden, Carolyn Brones (Lee) and Josie Hunter; siblings, Charles L. (Bernice), Arthur L. Porter (Providence, RI), Mary Frances Campbell, Ella Mae Porter and Delores Moss (Lorenzo); 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hill Street Baptist church, 2203 Dixie Hwy. Burial: Louisville Cemetery. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at A. D. Porter & Sons Funeral Home, 1300 W. Chestnut St.
