MILLER, ELBERT E., 84, went to be with the Lord January 18, 2011.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and awarded a Purple Heart and Two Bronze Stars, was a frequent volunteer at The Lords Kitchen and a member of Evangel World Prayer Center. He retired from E.I. DuPont in Louisville.
He is survived by his daughters, Althea Otis (Steven) and Deborah Lynn Miller; son, David E. Miller; sisters, Evangeline Weichert (Bill) and Nell Basham (Rudolph); and grandchildren, Kasey Miller, Eric Miller, Dawson Miller, Elizabeth Otis and Parker Rose Otis.
Ceremony is 11 a.m. Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY. Visitation is 1-6 p.m. Sunday.
